Kallerdahl/Ward/Lindgård - the munkedal tapes

After 2 successful live recordings at the local jazz bar, Unity Jazz, the trio lest the city for three spring days and retreated to a small house on Sweden’s west coast to record the munkedal tapes. With new compositions and a simple setup, the trio followed one rule: play first, think later. The result is an intimate, spontaneous piano trio album, blending original music with unexpected nods to Wagner and Chopin.
