Livet är härligt, mamma! (Life Is Wonderful, Mum!) is a musical journey inspired by children’s own thoughts and questions about life, nature, fear, joy and death. Clarinetist, singer and composer Lisa Grotherus created the songs through conversations and forest walks with children at a preschool in Stockholm. Blending children’s songs, jazz, improvisation and folk music, the album explores the world through a child’s eyes — playful, poetic, warm and sometimes dark.

Lisa Grotherus is a musician, composer and producer working across jazz, improvisation, folk and theatre music.
